and not something that could be poisonous. So, first check in a plant nursery or a farmer's market for an edible seedling to plant in your garden or your plot in a community garden. But, if all you need is a bit of lettuce for your homemade burgers, just buy it at the market. And remember, only buy or pick or plant what you are going to need!
